Welcome to Coe Lamb Post 421
*** Next Post Meeting - June 24, 7:00PM ***
Port Byron Village Hall, 120 S. Main Street
Since our charter in 1920, our American Legion Post has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. The American Legion was founded on Four Pillars of Service: Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism, and Children & Youth. Each of these pillars encompasses a variety of programs that benefit our nation's veterans, its service members, their families, the youth of American and ordinary citizens. These programs make a difference in hundreds of thousands of lives each year. It's who we are and what we do.
American Legion Coe-Lamb Post 421 serves the Port Byron community by supporting our youth, community and veterans through various activities including: military memorials within Port Byron, sponsorship of the American Legion Award scholarship at Riverdale High School, sponsorship of a youth baseball and basketball teams, and donations to other civic and community organizations.
REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.
American Legion Coe-Lamb Post 421 is helping the Rock Island National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes on December 14th.
Join us in honoring and remembering as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, and spreading the word to your family and friends.
